Green Pepper dip 

What to do with lot of peppers? Make this nourishing pepper dip!
P.S. Make sure the peppers are not too spicy.


Spices used:

Fenugreek and cumin powder

Other ingredients:

Ghee 2 tablespoons
Garlic cloves 1/2 cup
Onion chopped 1 cup
Peppers chopped 2 cups
Mint leaves 1 cup
Salt as per your taste
Tamarind 1 tsp
Jaggery 1 tsp
Sesame seeds 1/2 cup

Method:


Step 1: Roast sesame seeds


Roast sesame seeds and let them cool down

Step 2: Cook all the ingredients in ghee

Add ghee to a heated pan and then add garlic, onion, peppers, mint, salt, tamarind, Jaggery, fenugreek and cumin powder. Stir everything together and cover the dish with a lid and cook for 15 minutes on a medium low flame. Stir occasionally. Once all the ingredients are cooked well, turn off the flame and let it cool down.

Step 3: Grind all the ingredients


Grind the sesame seeds in a blender and then grind all the ingredients together. Add some water to grind if needed. Taste the dip and add some salt if needed. 

The Pepper dip is ready to serve. Enjoy it with your burgers, sandwiches, chips, tacos or rice.
