Green Chicken Sauté
Green chicken Sauté recipe is quick and easy to make for a weeknight dinner.
Spices used:
3/4 teaspoon of Spicytude Garam Masala
1/2 teaspoon of Turmeric powder
1 teaspoon of Paprika
Other Ingredients:
Three chicken breasts cut into 1 inch pieces (1.75 lbs. )
1 cup of Mint Leaves
1 cup of Cilantro Leaves
2 Serrano Peppers
1/4 cup of Garlic cloves
1/4 cup of chopped ginger
1/2 cup of Greek Yogurt or regular Yogurt
1 teaspoon of Salt or as per your taste
3 tablespoons of Olive oil or any cooking oil you prefer
1 cup of Chopped Onion
Step 1. Prepare Green paste for marinate:
Grind Cilantro, mint, Serrano peppers, Ginger, Garlic and yogurt into a green paste.
Step 2. Marinate:
Marinate the chicken with one teaspoon of Olive oil, Turmeric, Paprika, Salt, Spicytude Garam Masala and the green paste.Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and let it marinate for at at least an hour. You can leave it overnight if you have time.
Step 3. Cook:
Add two table spoons of olive oil to a heated pan
Add chopped onion to the oil and sauté until they are golden brown
Add Marinated chicken and sauté for 20 - 25 minutes on medium high heat until the chicken dry is cooked.
Serve this delicious spicy chicken with rice, bread or a pita wrap!!
