Green Chicken Saute

Indulge in the rich flavors of our Green Chicken Sauté blend, a harmonious mix of aromatic Indian spices that elevate your chicken dishes to new heights. Infused with the perfect balance of green herbs and spices, this blend brings a burst of freshness to your cooking, creating a tantalizing experience for your taste buds


  • 2 to 2.5 lbs boneless chicken thighs cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 3/4 tsp of Spicytude Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp of paprika or red chili powder
  • 1 cup of chopped fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup of chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 serrano peppers (or any green chillies)
  • 1/4 cup of garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup of chopped ginger
  • 1/2 cup of greek yogurt (or plain yogurt)
  • 1 tsp of salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil or any cooking oil you prefer
  • 1 cup of finely chopped onion

Step 1: Blend

  1. Blend cilantro, mint, serrano peppers, ginger, garlic and yogurt into a green paste.

Step 2: Marinate the chicken

  1. Wash chicken.
  2. Mix together the green paste, turmeric, paprika, salt and Spicytude Garam Masala.
  3. Pour marinade over the chicken, mix thoroughly and let marinate for at least an hour or overnight in the fridge if possible.

Step 3: Cook

  1. Heat a pan over medium flame.
  2. When hot, add two tablespoons of olive oil.
  3. Add chopped onion to the pan and sauté until onions are golden brown.
  4. Next, add marinated chicken and sauté for 20 to 25 minutes on medium heat until the water evaporates and the chicken is cooked.
  5. Serve this delicious spicy chicken with rice, bread or a pita wrap!
